The De Lanerolle Brothers are Sri Lanka's premier musicians and are superb entertainers, performing regularly In Sri Lanka at dinner concerts which are always a sell out, plus the Galle Literary Festival. All their performances are for charity including raising money for books for the rebuilt Jaffna library. Both classically trained, Rohan is a tenor and Ishan a bass who sings Old Man River, an octave lower than Paul Robeson. Their day job is running the largest tea bag factory in Sri Lanka.

Although they have given concerts all over the world including Australia, Singapore and Canada this will be their first event in the UK so I hope it will be a success and lead to bigger things.

The concert will be held on 27 September at the Holiday inn Brentford near Kew overlooking the canal lock. They will sing lots of our favourite music from the early 70's and it promises to be a great evening.
