The St.Paul's Milagiriya Past Pupils Association celebrated 130 years of the school birthday coinciding with a 10th anniversary of the SPM PPA branch in the United Kingdom. The big bash party themed on Fire and Ice was held at the Thistle Hotel Heathrow on the 4th of November 2017.

It all commenced with the traditional lamp lighting by the new team lead by President Ruvini Ranatunga and her new committee.

An elegant cake was brought in by four young lads on a Roman-themed palanquin with fireworks and confetti to the surprise of all the guests. After the cake cutting ceremony joined by the entire SPM Past Pupils present in the hall, they were proud to sing their school song with utmost gratitude and appreciation, to their Alma Mater.

Ruvini the President for 2017/2018, welcomed the guests with a short, but well-scripted speech describing the 10-year journey supporting the school.
