Diwali Celebration at Sri Lankan High Commission to the UK

The High Commission of Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom hosted a colourful Diwali festival reception to mark the auspicious victory of light over darkness and good over evil which is celebrated worldwide. Welcoming the guests, Mr.X introduced Mr. XX to deliver his speech on maintaining the values and traditions we stand for as Sri Lankans. 



Acting Sri Lankan High Commissioner, Mrs Chamari Rodrigo. , wished happiness and prosperity to all on the joyous event. Prominent guests attended the event to symbolize the diversity yet unity of a multi-religious society. The event included a traditional dance followed by dinner.
