Sanghika Dana in memory of Mrs. Kumari Jayasundara, elder sister of Ven. Bogoda Seelawimala Nayaka Thera.

Committee members, devotees and supporters of the London Buddhist Vihara held a special Sanghika Dana (Alms Giving) at the Vihara on Saturday 30th July to 'transfer the merits' to late Mrs. Kumari Jayasundara who passed away on the 17th July, at the age of 74. She was the elder sister of Most Ven. Bogoda Seelawimala Nayaka Thera, Head of London Buddhist Vihara and the Chief Sangha Nayaka of Great Britain.

Besides the four resident monks seven other monks from several temples in the UK, Acting High Commissioner for Sri Lanka Sugeeshwara Gunarathna, Mrs Gunaratna, Counsellor of the Sri Lanka High Commission Manoj Warnapala, and a large number of devotees participated.
