Vesak Celebration at Jethavana Buddhist Vihara, Birmingham in 2018

Vesak celebration 2018 at Jethavana Buddhist Vihara, Birmingham was successful over
hundreds of devotees gathering at the temple premises under the guidance of Head of
Vihara, Venerable keppetiyagoda Gunawansa Maha thero . Breakfast dana was sponsored
by Mr.Kalana Jayawardena and family and Lunch dana was sponsored by Mr.Ananda
Hikkaduwa and family.
Ven.Nepol Sumana thero, Kingsbury Buddhist Vihara, London delivered a dhamma talk in
the morning time and Ven.Thissapura Sugatharathana thero and Ven wawegama
Saddhamangala thero also deliverd dhamma talks in the afternoon as invited guest monks.
Mapalagama Soratha thero and Witharandeniye Sarada thero also took part in series of
whole day programmes. All JBV devotees attended the events with much faithfully and
commemorated the Birth the Enlightenment and the passing away of the Buddha. In the
evening Devotional songs were sang by Dhamma school children, teachers and parents.
