On Sunday 28th June 2015 the Association of Old Nalandians' in the UK organised a family fun day at the Great & Little Warley Cricket Club grounds in Brentwood.
Even though the start of the proceedings had to be delayed due to unexpected weather conditions, once the sun appeared it became a great day out for many Nalandians', their families and friends who were there to have a great day and the organisers made sure the guests were not left disappointed.
As well as the traditional Sri Lankan folk games, the organisers made sure the day was full of fun, games and activities for the children and adults alike. In addition, there was a fabulous buffet of Hoppers and Koththu for the guests to enjoy. If that wasn't enough entertainment, music provided by the "Frontliners" kept the crowd on their toes till the end.
The organizing committee takes this opportunity to thank all who attended NALANDA FAMILY FUN DAY 2015 to make it a huge success and would be looking forward to organise further events under the flag of mother 'NALANDA'.
