17th edition of the Asian Game get under way in Korea

Sri Lanka's men's team too will be seen in action at the Asian Games hockey tournament which begins today with the first round matches. Among the other disciplines, in which Sri Lanka will be seen in action, which starts today are beach volleyball and weightlifting. But Sri Lanka's sole weightlifter and the overall captain Chinthana Vidanage will attempt his lifts only on September 23 in the men's 77kg qualifying round.
