Shivananda Vidyalaya Children Christmas Talent Show 2016

Past Students’ Association of Batticaloa RKM/ Shivananda Vidyalaya (UK) Branch held their annual Christmas Children Talent Show - 2016 on Saturday the 10th December 2016. The current executive committee planned well and accomplished this function productively at the Preston Manor School, Carlton Avenue East, Wembly, HA9 8NA.. The Chairman Vkay Suresh in his welcome speech thanked the parents for their continuous support and the children for their encouragement to participate in the talent show. The programme was well managed by the Social Secretary G Kiritharan with the help of senior members of the current executive Committee. The young Shivanandians Miss Jathursha Suresh and Miss Dhaniya Sunthararajah charmingly anchored the programmes from the start to the end. The talent show followed by delicious Srilankan Eastern dishes.

This programme is specially aimed at the youngsters to come on to the stage to show their talents to help themselves boosting the competency. There were other activities including raffle tickets draw and launching of the upcoming Winter Sports Gala -2017. Mr A.Sathianathan, once who was our badminton Champion of this tournament helped us on stage to launch this tournament. The Winter Sports Gala – 2017 will be held at the Harrow Leisure Centre on 19th February 2017.

Winners of the Talent show were awarded prizes at the end of the show.

Over 12 was Priyasha Ghosh.
