Rhythm Vibes was the second major event organised and presented by 1+1= UK registered charity in 2014, and the event management by "Lankans Voice 2013 Champion" Damien David, finished been a success than anticipated.

Rhythm Vibes was the preliminary show of the upcoming "Lankans Voice Awards 2014" and it was also a follow up to Lankans Voice singing competition 2013 held in February 2014. Lankans Voice 2013 champion Damien David accepted the invitation by 1+1= to carry out the event management of these events. He was delighted that he could contribute to 1+1= events with his experience as a manager as well as a person who has lot of skills in music. He gathered some of his fellow contestants who competed with him at the "Lankans voice 2013 Grand Finale" to perform at the event, and managed to get pioneering artists here in UK, such as Sanath Udugama and Hemantha Kumara's contribution to this event. He also gathered few popular music bands for the show and managed to deliver an epic night of entertainment to the gathered audience. Affinity D ( a British music band where Damien David is a member of) kick off the show and then DJ session followed by Exceed DJ Malith. Popular C7 band supplied the live music for the performers and altogether giving a great atmosphere enjoyed by the vibrant audience. All in all, it was a great night for many and the show was hit among the vivid audience came from London and out of London areas.

Raffle draw was an attracted moment by the audience and the winners were chosen by one of the main sponsors Mrs Chandinie Rekers, who is a very successful business woman as well as an old Vishakian. First prize went to Mr Rekers which was a hamper with goodies worth of £100 and it was a contribution by Mr Mano Amarasinghe, Mrs Ruvinie De Silva, Ms Ann Jayawardene, Mr Rajesh Amarasinghe and Miss Hansi Jayawickrama. 2nd & 3rd both prizes won by Ms Melisha Wijesuriya and prizes were sponsored by a very popular business Atlas Shipping.

1+1= charity and Damien David would like to thank every one who were present at this splendid evening and all the others who mainly supported the charity in every means possible. Our special thanks goes to Paster Tony from Slough (Word of life Ministries) for attending the the event as a VIP guest: also to Dave Lee, Sanjith Amarasinghe, Shanika Shashika, Rohan Amarasinghe, Dillon David (Damin David's brother) and Ruvinie De Silva who made a great effort to gather the crowd to the event.
A big thank you goes to the event sponsors who supported us from start to finish the show with this success with out whom it would not have been possible. Namely: Lassana Flora - a Sri Lankan business ( all the audience and crew members were given out $10 gift vouchers by them) and they sponsored the VIPs' bouquets of flowers. Mrs Chandinie Rekers ( all the cost of pre event activities including the charity website) was supported by her while Upali Solicitors : UK also contributed very generously. Atlas Shipping supported us continuously from 2011 to whom we are very grateful.

Media sponsorship extended by News Lanka, Serendib News and the Lanka times was a vital support for the success of the event. We thank Friyan Joseph Fernando who once again supported us with a strong publicity materials and campaign to grab the majority attention to this event via different media.
We appreciate the support given by Praneeth Hettiarachchi by capturing the every moments of the event with his brilliant photography.
1+1= gave the opportunity to another up coming talent Chathuranga Lakmal to host the event in Sinhalese and he grab the attention of the audience with his presentation proving a very good future on to the popular event stage.

The major profit to 1+1= was that many audience agreed to support/continue their support to its future works after this show.
