Sara Sihina 2014 - Press release

London was rocked by Bathiya and Santush featuring Randir, Ashanti, Umariya and dj Spikey accompanied by Billy Fernando and Band 2fourty2 on the 20^th September. This was a rare concert in which Bathiya & Santush performed with a full band consisting of fourteen members. A large number of music lovers from all over the UK joined to enjoy the concert with a motive of supporting a worthy cause of helping Chronic Kidney Disease patients in Sri Lanka.

The concert was organised by the Hela Sarana youth members lead by Ruwan, Sayuri, Hiroki, Shalini and Indula. They were supported by many youth in London with their enthusiasm and skills to make this event a success.   Hela Sarana as the main sponsor of organising the event was supported by Ceylon UK, Newslanka, Transil Travels, The Eye creations (Nalin De Silva), Api Sri Lankan (Praneeth Hettiarachhi), Ceylon Supermart, Col3Neg, Bodyclinic and SETRAMED London.

Hela Sarana is a UK registered charity that has been involved in various projects to help the needy people in Sri Lanka. Providing clean water, medical support, humanitarian support and research in the management of chronic kidney disease is one of the main projects at present and this concert was organised to raise awareness and to seek the involvement of all the Sri Lanka organisations and individuals to join hands in helping Sri Lanka in this grave situation and also to raise funds for the projects.
