General Meeting Of Sri Lanka Freedom Party UK Branch 2017

The General Meeting (GM) of Sri Lanka Freedom Party United Kingdom Branch (SLFP - UK) was held on 05th November 2017 at Father O’Callaghan Centre in Kingsbury, London. A large crowd consisting of Sri Lankan expatriates who extended their fullest support to the newly elected president of SLFP UK Branch Mr Lasantha Perera to achieve success for future activities. A passionate gathering of Sri Lankans who showed commitment to work together to put the views of the Sri Lankan Freedom Party.

Meanwhile Mr Nimal de Silva, the newly appointed Chief Organiser SLFP UK Branch addressing the members thanked them for their commitment and cooperation given to the SLFP UK Branch showing up in large numbers to the meeting. He also said that we all will have to work together to reappoint our President Hon Maithripala Sirisena back into the power in next presidential election.

A delightful Sri Lankan style Hoppers dinner was served to the attendees and all had a great time. The newly elected office bearers had the full blessings of the participants to proceed further with their plans to help main party and Motherland. During the General Meeting, SLFP UK Branch appointed new office bearers for the next twelve months.

The event went Successfully, and the meeting was finished with a high degree of optimism.
