LBV Founder's Day Speech Competition

As a part of the 150th birth anniversary of  Anagarika Dharmapala, founder of the London Buddhist Vihara, a competition of speech and power point presentation was held at the London Buddhist Vihara with many of the children from all the Dhamma School classes taking part.

 
Ven. Nepale Sumana Thera from Sri Saddatissa International Buddhist Centre, Dr. Subadra Siriwardhana, Dr. Amal Gunasena of London University and Mrs. Gunasena served as the panel of judges. Winners will receive their prizes during the week long exhibition on the life and work of Anagarika Dharmapala, to be held from the 14th to the 20th at the London Buddhist Vihara premises. The exhibition will be open to the public from 6 to 9 p.m. each day.
