40th Anniversary of the Past Pupil’s Association of Visakha (UK)

In a splendid affair at Oatlands Park Hotel, the Past Pupil’s Association of Visakha (UK) joyously celebrated its 40th anniversary.

Initiated by United Kingdom-based Visakhians, the association, a beacon of support, was established to give back to Visakha and foster camaraderie among those living abroad. The annual dinner dance, a vital fundraiser, supports 22 undergraduates studying in Sri Lankan universities through the association’s bursary scheme.

Attended by a diverse mix of age groups, Visakhians, and their families, the event resonated with laughter and unity. The evening's soulful melodies were graciously provided by the United Kingdom's top Sri Lankan band EXCEED, enhancing the celebration.
