SRI LANKAN GOLFING SOCIETY IN UK – 20TH YEAR COMMEMORATIONS / CELEBRATIONS FRIDAY 5TH SATURDAY 6TH & SUNDAY 7TH JUNE 2015
Founded in 1995, The Sri Lankan Golfing Society’s 20th year celebrations would be held at The Oxfordshire Golf Club, a prestigious venue.
Programme for the event would be 2 competitive rounds of golf played over Friday 5th and Saturday 6th followed by a gala dinner dance on Saturday 6th evening.
Participation is available to members of the Sri Lankan Golfing Society, their guests, members of The Oxfordshire Golf Club and any other guests or well wishers.
SPONSOR PACKAGES
THREE categories of sponsorship packages are made available to suit our well wishers / benefactors.
PACKAGE 1 the SOUVENIR - Plans are under way to publish a full colour, 8 page, quality souvenir containing some valuable information of the society, its evolvement over the last 20 years from the humble beginnings by two Sri Lankan Golf enthusiasts. Of course sponsors of the souvenir are most welcome and to this end a three tier package is offered with the intention of catering to all tastes & budgets.
TIER 1 – GOLD (costs currently under negotiation with printers) Package would make available a full in-side page, five minute presentation / speech during gala dinner, unlimited access to golfers, guests and gala dinner attendees, unlimited publicity (at own expense) during the two days. Small additional premium cost would secure the inside page of front and back cover and a premium additional cost would secure the back page. Please note – the centre pages are not available – reserved for SLGS material. Space is limited and thus allocation would be purely on first come basis. Reservations by payment of a non-refundable fee of £100.00 - when matters are finalised
TIER 2 – SILVER (costs currently under negotiation with printers) Package would make available half A4 page, unlimited access to golfers and visitors at the gala dinner champagne reception. Additional small premium cost for inside page of front and back cover - subject to availability. Availability of space would be limited thus allocation would be first come basis. Reservations by payment of a non-refundable sum of £75.00 - when matters are finalised
TIER 3 – BRONZE (costs currently under negotiation with printers) Package would make available half a page insertion within the inside pages of the souvenir. Availability of space would be limited thus allocation would be first come basis. Reservations by payment of a non-refundable sum of £50.00 - when matters are finalised
PACKAGE 2 - SPONSORSHIP OF GOLF HOLES – THREE CATAGORIES
The Oxfordshire Golf Course is blessed with challenging, yet excellent par three holes. To make the situation interesting Oxfordshire has offered to make the holes be playable from the front tees thus catering for almost all categories of golfers.
The first Par three is the second hole on the course, approximately 125 yards long, large undulated green guarded by bunkers. The second Par three is the 5th hole on the course, approximately 150 yards long, guarded by bunkers and a lake on the left hand side.
The last Par three is the 15th hole on the course, approximately 165 yards long, elevated and undulated green guarded by bunkers.
CATAGORY 1 - SPONSORSHIP OF HOLE-IN-ONE AND OR NEAREST TO PIN OF PAR 3 HOLES
Cost - £500.00 / hole plus prize. Sponsorship of the three holes on the main competition day – Friday 5th June, is offered in the form of hole-in-one and or nearest to the pin in either case on the understanding that the sponsor would also provide an appropriate prize. We are of course looking for quality prizes and if you wish to discuss the arrangements please do not hesitate to contact. Sponsorship is offered at £500.00 per hole with unlimited advertising at the hole and on both golfing days within the guidelines of The Oxfordshire Golf Club.
