Hounslow Sri Lanka Janahanda Foundation is one of the leading societies in the UK serving Sri Lankans living in the UK and Sri Lanka. Janahanda Foundation established more than 10 years ago and all the councillors including the Mayor of Hounslow Borough Council are highly appreciated the survives they are doing for the community. Seema Malhotra, The Shadow Minister for Women and Equalities and the Member of the Justice Select Committee and Ruth Cadbury, the MP for Brentford and Isleworth also very pleased about the support they are doing for the local community as well as Sri Lankan community.
To appreciate the support given by the councillors and the two MP’s the Janahanda Foundation members organised a get together on 18th July in Hounslow. All the councillors were attended including the former leader of the Council Mr Jagdish Sharma, from the Janahanda Foundation patron Ms Surya Samaraweera, President Sri Lal Dias, Sectary Nimesh Wickramasinghe, Secatry of media and culture Asiri Bandara, active members Neil nanayakkaara, Kanesh Kanakaturei, Nilantha Munasinghe, Ashoka Silva, Iraj Chaminda Silva, Deva Somasundaram and Pradeep Kandappa were attend.
