A meeting was organised by the United national Party UK Branch for Srilankan Business community in the UK to meet the Sri lankan Finance Minister Hon Ravi Karunanayake. The meeting was held at Savoy Hotel Strand London WC2. On Thursday 29 October 2015.
The Business community included Bankers, Businessmen, Traders, Entrepreneurs, City Brokers, leading Account Managers and Investors attended this meeting.
The Minister addressed the gathering and talked of the future that the new Government has undertaken. He explained the steps taken to encourage new businesses and investors to the country.He said that the budget in November will be a budget for business.The country needs new investors and he has been able to explain his new policies to leading business leaders during his tour to UK and Europe.
The Minister also, answered many questions put to him during the discussions. The meeting was presided by Azahim Mohamed. The branch wishes to take this opportunity to thank Mohamed Jameel Committee Member of the UNP UK branch for arranging and organising this meeting.
