The founder of Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monasteries, Venerable Kiribathgoda Gnanananda Thero concluded a short visit to the United Kingdom and returned to Sri Lanka on the 23rd of June 2015. During this visit, Gnanananda Thero inaugurated three meditation huts constructed for the use of Noble Maha Sangha at the Mahamevnawa Meditation Center Premises in Basildon.  On the same day, a Dhamma Programme was held in Purfleet, Essex where a large number of devotees were able to listen to a beautiful Dhamma discourse by Gnanananda Thero.

During the course of the stay, he visited the three newly established Mahamevnawa branches in Esher, Stanmore and Uxbridge. Many devotees who joined those occasions had the chance to pay respects to Gnanananda Thero and receive blessings.

May everyone share all the merits obtained with joyous minds!
