The Kabaddi game is a popular sport among many Indian communities. it is an Asian sport played by teams of seven players on a rectangular sand court. a player from one team tries to capture a player from the other team and must hold his or her breath while running. This kind of old age sport is still popular among the

Punjabi community in the UK.



The Panjabi community in Hounslow, Hayes,Heston, Southall areas held their annual Kabaddi completion in Hayes on 5th July 2015 with participation of huge crowd. This Kabaddi competition was so exciting and impressive.


Amongst the guests who participated this occasion were MP for Hounslow and Feltham Sheema Malhotra, Ealing and Southall MP Veranda Sharma for Isleworth and Brentford Ruth Cadbury and many more councillors from Hounslow council.Mr Srilal Dias, the president of the Janahanda Foundation participated for this occasion representing Janahanda foundation and he was awarded a trophy in honour community service he done in Hounslow area. At the end of the competition all the participants and guests were awarded guest of honour trophies.
