A brilliant bowling spell by Rangana Herath who took 9 wickets for 127 runs restricted Pakistan in their 1st innings to 332 runs all out in the 3rd day of the 2nd test played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at the SSC grounds in Colombo today. This is t he 2nd nine wicket haul by a Sri Lankan bowler. In the year 2002 Muttiah Muralitheran took nine wickets against Zimbabwe.
In the Pakistan innings safraz Ahamed scored 103 runs. The Sri Lankan team scored 320 runs in the 1st innings and Pakistan is 12 runs ahead of the Sri Lankan 1st innings.
