The University of Nottingham Sri Lankan Society held one of their most anticipated Kottu and Baila Night’s on Sunday 16th November 2014. The event was a huge success with many Sri Lankans gathering from both the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University. Whilst the guests arrived and mingled, the committee set up the Kottu buffet along with Falooda.

Not only was the food popular among the Sri Lankans, students from lots of different cultures gathered to enjoy the spicy Kottu and get a feel for the Sri Lankan culture. The University of Nottingham Sri Lankan Society hope to organise many more events in the future and hope they can be just as successful as this!
