SRILANKA HIGH COMMISSIONER RECEIVES WARM WELCOME BY HOUNSLOW MAYOR AND SEEMA MALHOTHRA MP FOR FELTHAM AND HESTON HOUNSLOW

Her Worshipful Mayor of London borough of Hounslow councillor Ajmer Grewal warmly welcome Srilanka high commissioner to the Hounslow London UK, as a gesture of goodwill. Hounslow is home for many thousands of Citizens from Srilankan origin. This social gathering was held at Mayor's office of London borough of Hounslow, Civic centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, 19th of November 2016. This occasion was attended by several local MPs councillors from Hounslow borough.

SriLankan deputy high commissioner Mr Sugeeswara Gunarathna with Minister Counselor Mr Pathirathna graced this occasion representing Srilanka High commissioner.
Three parliamentarians who present at this welcome occasion were Hon. Seema Malhothra, MP for Feltham and Heston, Hon. Ruth Cadbury MP for Brentford and Isleworth, Hon. Rupa Hug MP for Ealing Central and Acton Among other special guests who graced this occasion were Lord Sardar Singh of Tutbury in Hounslow chamber of commerce and Mr Stephen Fry, the Chief Executive Officer of Hounslow chamber of commerce.

Former Leader of the Hounslow counndcil Cllr Jugdish Sharma,Former Former Mayor Pritham Grewal and Former Deputy mayor Bishnu Gurung and Cllr Khalid Malik were also participated at this special gathering.

Hounslow Janahanda Foundation sponsored this welcome gathering and representatives such as President Mr. Srilal Dias, Mrs Surya Samaraweera Janahanda Patron Shiran Almeida and Mrs Manoja Almeda with Nilantha Munasinha Mr Anuruddha Mr Thilak and the Journalist and film producer Mr. Nandana Weerarathna also participated at this event.
