The 40th Annual General Meeting of Past Pupils’ Association of Visakha (UK)

The 40th Annual General Meeting of Past Pupils’ Association of Visakha (UK) was held at the Rasa Bojun Restaurant in Harrow on Saturday the 18th of March 2023. The event was well attended and reflected steady growth and the success of the association. Mrs Yamuna a Tennakoon was elected as the President while an expanded thirty-five-member committee was elected to support the busy calendar to celebrate the milestone year. Few changes to the constitution were passed to strengthen the governance and making things practical. President’s speech and Patron’s speech both enhanced the vision of the association to respond to the needs of Visakha Vidyalaya and foster the spirit of camaraderie among Visakhians in the UK. After the AGM, members and their families joined for a meal & music to celebrate the new committee.
