Reality UK donates £5000 (Rs 1 Million) for National Kidney Fund in Sri Lanka

Reality UK donated £5000 (Five Thousand Sterling Pounds) for ‘National Kidney Fund’ of the Presidential Task Force for Prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease programme in Sri Lanka. This timely important national project was initiated and co-ordinated by President Maithripala Sirisena for the prevention of ongoing chronic kidney disease in Sri Lanka. Reality UK team organised its annual 31st Night Dinner Dance in 6th consecutive time on 31 of December last year (2015)to raise funds for this worthy mission. Sri Lanka’s most popular musical band ‘Sunflowers’ full team headed by Neil Warnakula and Nelson Vass rocked the full house show by entertaining the UK music lovers giving them another memorable night to remember.


The cheque was handed over to President Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat by Sisira Gunawardena on behalf of Reality UK. He is the UK co-ordinator for Presidential Task Force for Prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease in Sri Lanka.


Reality UK (Registered Charity) would like to thank everyone including the Patron of Reality UK, Venerable Akurala Samitha Thero, Chief Incumbent of Letchworth Dhamma Nikethanaya Buddhist Centre, Committee Members, members, sponsors, musicians, well wishes and those who purchased tickets and all others contributed their support in numerous ways toward the massive success achieved at the 31st Night Annual Dinner Dance.
