Musaeus Midsummer Gala 2026 Delivers an Unforgettable Night of Music, Elegance and Celebration

02 Jul, 2026
The Musaeus College Past Pupils Association (UK) proudly hosted the Musaeus Midsummer Gala 2026 on Saturday, 20 June 2026, at the Hilton Watford, bringing together Musaeites, families, friends and well-wishers for an evening of elegance, entertainment and celebration.

Dressed in black tie attire, guests enjoyed a memorable evening of fine dining, live music and heartfelt reunions as members of the Musaeus community gathered to celebrate their shared heritage and lasting friendships.

The night's headline performances featured two of Sri Lanka's most celebrated artists, Lanthra Perera and Umara Sinhawansa, who captivated the audience with their exceptional vocals and stage presence. Their performances, featuring a blend of timeless classics and contemporary favourites, created an unforgettable musical experience.

Keeping the energy high throughout the evening, the acclaimed live band Exceed delivered a spectacular performance that filled the dance floor and had guests celebrating well into the night.

Guests also enjoyed excellent hospitality with table service, an exciting grand raffle, and a beautifully organised programme that reflected the dedication and hard work of the organising committee.

The Musaeus Midsummer Gala 2026 was more than just an entertainment eventβ€”it was a celebration of friendship, community and the enduring bond shared by Musaeites across generations. The evening provided the perfect opportunity for past pupils to reconnect, create new memories and strengthen the Musaeus spirit within the UK.

A special congratulations go to Ayomi Wijesingha and the entire organising committee for delivering a truly outstanding event. Their vision, commitment and countless hours of hard work ensured a seamless and memorable evening that was enjoyed by everyone in attendance.

The organisers also extend their sincere appreciation to all sponsors, partners, performers, volunteers and guests whose support contributed to the success of the gala. Special thanks go to Home Lands (Gold Sponsor), SenaCare (Silver Sponsor), Creative Squad (Creative Partner), and all others who helped make the event possible.

As another successful chapter comes to a close, the Musaeus College Past Pupils Association (UK) looks forward to continuing this tradition of bringing the community together through memorable events for years to come.
